Drunken Stampers #34 ~ Dry emboss and paint!

Here's my card for the Drunken Stampers #34 ~ Dry emboss and paint challenge this week.
I was so happy that the Spider Web embossing folder from Stampin Up came in the mail today! I knew exactly what I was going to do for this challenge- and the folder arrived just in time! I painted the black cardstock with Ranger Distress Crackle Clear Rock Candy paint, embossed the web onto the purple cardstock and stamped some spiders from Dark and Dreary (Stampin Up) onto it with the VersaMark stamp pad and added the black glitter to it. I took the photo on an angle- hopefully you can see the crackle paint!
I had so much fun with the Spider Web embossing folder I embossed some black napkins for my Halloween Party.  Thanks for looking!!

Butterfly Tag

This is for Kard Krazy Tuesday Tag Challenge. First time I entered this challenge also!
I used the stamps All A Flutter, Style Beautiful by Stampin Up & Letter Background by Penny Black.  I embossed it and used the blender pen to color the butterflies. I sponged Crumb Cake Ink (SU) along the edges to distress it (hard to see in the photo). Then dusted the tag with Pearl Ex. I like how it turned out!

Clock

This is my first attempt at making at working clock! I had SO much fun! I mailed it to my mother in law in San Diego for her birthday. I was inspired by the new Stampin Up Catalog. I can't wait to make another!

I used the Sense of Time stamps from Stampin Up for the clock face, and other various stamps to decorate it. I also used Lynne Forsythe's grunge paper roses: http://lynneforsythe.blogspot.com/2010/05/my-first-tutorial.html For the other flowers I used a tutorial by Lisa: http://what-a-beautiful-mess.blogspot.com/2010/06/swirly-fiesta-flower.html
