12 Tags of Christmas week 2

12 Tags of Christmas Week 2! I was inspired by Linda's beautiful tag here.
This is mine:

I really like her printer block numbers so I made my own.

Her black flower is also stunning.

I made mine out of black cardstock and black tulle using the Tattered Flowers Tim Holtz die. Used my Distress It All on the edges of the tag. Thanks for looking!

A new adventure: TCR #84

I recently came across Dusty Attic chipboard embellishments. Which led me to The Color Room challenge. I made a photo tag for our wedding story "slide show" that we'll have at our wedding next summer. This is a photo of me and Jeff back in 2003. We went on an air boat ride while on a vacation in Florida.
These are the colors we are to use:
Here is the first Dusty Attic element I bought, Vintage Clock 2! I colored it with Tea Stain Tim Holtz Distress Ink, and a thin layer of Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

12 Tags of Christmas week 10

For week 10 of Linda's 12 Tags of Christmas I was inspired to make this tag:
I really like how Linda embossed the whole tag. I used 2 different embossing folders from SU! The oval frame embossing folder worked perfect for the "Merry Christmas". I also really like the gold color on Linda's beautiful tag.
I rubbed a gold ink pad over the raised parts. I also spray the whole tag with Copper Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist. The reindeer I cut out of a scrap I had left over from a project last year.
Tomorrow I hope to work on more tags for this challenge.

Messy Frames

I used these fun new Messy Frames by Altered Emporium for my digital scrapbook pages!
This one is of Tracker's 8th Birthday! Where did the years go!

This photo is one I took while biking on this beautiful trail in October.

A couple projects

I've been wanting to participate in Linda's 12 tags of Christmas but I've been too busy, so today I completed 2 projects. You don't have to make tags, just something that you've made that was inspired by her beautiful example. For my first paper cone I was inspired by Linda's cardboard stars in her week 9 tag.
I used some old sheet music to make my cones. I used a snowflake border punch around the edges of the rosette. Inked it with Tea Stain Distress Ink and some Star Dust Stickles.
I added some glitter around the edges of the star.

I also added a crystal from Maya Road.
My 2nd cone was inspired by Linda's 1st tag. I liked her rosette. They are so fun to make.

I added a paper doily under the rosette that I sprayed with Key Lime Tattered Angel's Glitter Spray. The large snowflake is made from cardboard.
More glitter and star dust stickles and a evergreen pick finished it off.
The last project I made today were these cute paper flowers:
There was a tutorial in this month's The Deviant Muse over at Deviant Scrap. It's a free newsletter. Edeena made a great button flower tutorial! I made 4 flowers.
I added the flowers to a birthday card I made. The fence was made with the Picket Fence On the Edge Sizzix die by Tim Holtz. I inked the edges of the flower with Distress Ink.
