I made a charm bracelet for my sister in law's birthday. 3 of the charms I made with grunge paper and Shelly's Faux Enamel Number Tag Tutorial. It was SO much fun, I'm going to try other ink color combinations later!! I didn't have the Black Memories Ink that she used so the Stazon bled a little but I'm still very happy how they turned out. The stamps are from SU. I also made 3 flower charms out of some Vintage Flowers Adornments from SU.

I added a photo charm and a few clear beads.

I made this birthday card for the challenge. I used some striped cardstock by Martha Stewart. I added more stripes on some of the petals (flower made with Tattered Florals Sizzix Die by Tim Holtz) with a striped stamp by Anna Griffin using Dusty Concord Distress Ink. The embossed border on the white cardstock is made using the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Die. Birthday stamp is from Stampin Up.

GC91: Random Redhead Challenge - Crowns

Here's a project card I made for GC91: Random Redhead Challenge - Crowns over at Gingersnap Creations. The card is for my Happiness Project Box, I was inspired by Tammy Tutterow and her drawer: Happiness Project.  I will share my box later when I'm finished with it.
I am addicted to Shelly's embossing techniques!! I used her Faux Copper Verdigris to make the background layer. I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder (SU). I brushed bronze Pearl Ex over the raised parts. I cut the crown from grunge paper using the Tim Holtz Heart Wings Sizzix die and covered it with Bronze Distress Stickles.

The bird/branch is from the Stampin Up punch. I inked the branch with Peeled Pained and Forest Moss Distress Inks. The quote is from Stampin Up.

GC89: Chestnut Theme Challenge - Kings and Queens

Here's a birthday card I made for the GC89: Chestnut Theme Challenge - Kings and Queens over at Gingersnap Creations:
I used Shelly's Faux Copper Verdigris to make my embossed layer. I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder (SU). I only have a few alcohol inks so I used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam Be Positive paint over the gesso. Then I rubbed versamark over the raised areas and then added gold UTEE.
The Queen stamp is from Stampin Up and the crown is from Tim Holtz.

This week Simon Says Stamp and Show ... A Tag!

I made a tag using Shelly's Gessoed AI Technique
I dabbed Currant Alcohol Ink over the layer of Gesso.
Instead of adding the embossing powder over the raised parts I rubbed some Raw Silk & Ruby Satin Colorbox Cat Eye ink. I really like how it looks but I can see why I don't used the colorbox ink very often -it doesn't seem to dry! It gets all over my fingers and I made the tag yesterday!

I added some Star Dust Stickles over the butterflies (SU die) and the quote (Tim Holtz). I used Dusty Concord Distress Ink.

GC88: Color Challenge - Coffee and Cream

Here's my card for the GC88: Color Challenge - Coffee and Cream for over at Gingersnap Creations:
For my card I used a combination of Shelly's Gessoed AI Technique & her Faux Copper Verdigris that she posted over at Gingersnap Creations. It was SO much fun to do! I made 3 other bakgrounds using it!! The embossing folder I used is the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions by Stampin Up. After I applied the gesso I painted on a layer of copper acrylic paint and then creamy champagne acrylic paint. Applied some versamark and covered it with copper UTTE.
The stamp is by Stampin Up along with the oval punches. I added a Vintage Flowers Adornment (SU) to finish it off. I'll be giving my boss this card on Monday.

I never got around to post my mini valentine album I gave Jeff.
I used Tim's Mini Valentine Book Tutorial to make it. And it was made out of one double-sided 12x12 piece of cardstock!! It was so easy and fun. I just love the little side pockets.
I added a bunch of photos of Jeff and I. I got out all my Valentine's themed stamps and some Brick Red Distress Ink and went to town!

Embossing!

This week Simon Says Stamp and Show ... Some Embossing!
I made some treat boxes for some of my friends at work. I got the template for the pillow boxes from Roni on her Ink Stains Blog. Very fun to make! Using my Big Shot I embossed the white cardstock with Texture Plates Kit #4 Texturz Plates by Stampin Up. Then I used a brayer to ink the raised parts with Barn Door Distress Ink.

The Valentine's Day ticket was stamped using Tim's Odds & Ends stamp set.

I embossed the large red heart with a polka dot embossing folder. I added some Icicle Stickles to the small white heart, it needed some glitter :) And then added some ribbon.

I had fun with 2 more digi scrap kits by Beth Rimmer from Deviant Scrap this weekend!

Metal Valentine

This week Simon Says Stamp and Show ... Some Love!
I made this Valentine's Day card. I embossed a piece of aluminum foil that was glued to a piece of cardstock to make it thicker. I got the idea to do that from metal-valentine. I used Barn Door Distress Ink, Totally Tool stamp by Stampin Up, a Karen Foster mini screw brad, Diamond Plate & Textile Texture embossing folders.
