GC108: Color Challenge The color of money

I can't believe it's my 4th week as a Visiting Artist over at Gingersnap Creations!! This week GC108: Color Challenge -The color of money is the theme.
I live in the USA and green is the color of money.
I painted a piece of cardboard with some Peeled Paint Distress Crackle Paint.

The pea pod vintage image I found on Graphics Fairy

I hand dyed the seam binding with a few green Tim Holtz's Distress Inks. The tag was made with the Tiny Tags and Tab Sizzix Die. I added a few gems and a butterfly I made with the SU! Beautiful Butterflies Sizzlet Die.
Can't wait to see what everyone makes!!!
Thanks for looking!

GC 102 Twine

GC 102 Twine is the Spicy Supply over at Gingersnap Creations!

I sprayed the tag with Tattered Angels Sapphire Blue Glitter Spray. Sponged on some Faded Jeans Distress Ink. The image of the cowboy is from Graphics Fairy. The fringe jeans on the bottom of the tag is from a pair of old jeans. Added some twine I had on hand and fastened it with some staples and a brad. The quote I found on the web, typed it up in PSE6 using 1942 Report font.

This week Simon Says Stamp and Show ... some Buttons

This week at Simon Says Stamp and Show ....some buttons!!
Here is my Mother's Day project I made:

It's a tin I got from the Clearance Bin at SU! The pretty cardstock was also from there, such a good deal I couldn't pass it up!

I made the flower from the Tattered Florals Die by Tim Holtz. I added an old button to it. The fabric is crinoline that I dyed with Tattered Angels Cranberry Glitter Mist and the white layer was stamped with a Penny Black script stamp.

The pretty music sheet scallop was given to me from Isabella from last month's ATC swap over at Deviant Scrap.com

All the pages are attached together and you pull on the purple ribbon to view the different pages.

The vintage images are from Graphics Fairy. She has some really amazing images over there!

I inked the edges with varies Tim Holtz Distress Inks

One side has the vintage images on it, and the other has photos of some butterflies in my gardens from last summer.
