This week Simon Says Stamp and Show ... some Buttons

This week at Simon Says Stamp and Show ....some buttons!!
Here is my Mother's Day project I made:

It's a tin I got from the Clearance Bin at SU! The pretty cardstock was also from there, such a good deal I couldn't pass it up!

I made the flower from the Tattered Florals Die by Tim Holtz. I added an old button to it. The fabric is crinoline that I dyed with Tattered Angels Cranberry Glitter Mist and the white layer was stamped with a Penny Black script stamp.

The pretty music sheet scallop was given to me from Isabella from last month's ATC swap over at Deviant Scrap.com

All the pages are attached together and you pull on the purple ribbon to view the different pages.

The vintage images are from Graphics Fairy. She has some really amazing images over there!

I inked the edges with varies Tim Holtz Distress Inks

One side has the vintage images on it, and the other has photos of some butterflies in my gardens from last summer.

Thanks for looking!

Distressing!

This week at Simon Says Stamp and Show some distressing!
I made an ATC for the swap over at Deviant Scrap The theme was Art Doll. The base is Claudine Hellmuth's Sticky-Back Canvas. I LOVE that stuff!
I found a ballerina on the web that I printed out and used as a mask. Then I sprayed Cosmos Tattered Angels Glitter Mist and a reinker mixture I made with Tim Holtz's Spiced Marmalade distress reinker and perfect pearls powder. A little ran under the mask, but I am still very happy with how it turned out!!

Using some Multi Medium glue I attached some mirco beads (Martha Stewart). I made the ballerina a necklace using Glam Pink Stickles. Inked the edges of the card with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.

GC:94 Office Supplies!

This is my project for the theme: Office Supplies over at Gingersnap Creations.
I made 2 card display holders using some binder clips. I added some notebook lined cardstock (Daisy D's). The stamps are from Stamping Up using Victorian Velvet and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.

I added some ribbon, lace & a gem. The larger one can hold greeting cards and the smaller one holds ATC's or other smaller projects. Thanks for looking!!
