GC108: Color Challenge The color of money

I can't believe it's my 4th week as a Visiting Artist over at Gingersnap Creations!! This week GC108: Color Challenge -The color of money is the theme.

I live in the USA and green is the color of money.

I painted a piece of cardboard with some Peeled Paint Distress Crackle Paint.

I hand dyed the seam binding with a few green Tim Holtz's Distress Inks. The tag was made with the Tiny Tags and Tab Sizzix Die. I added a few gems and a butterfly I made with the SU! Beautiful Butterflies Sizzlet Die.

Gingersnap Creations -Bags & Tags!

This is my 3rd week as a Visiting Artist over at Gingersnap Creations! GC107: Random Redhead Challenge - Bags and Tags!! Here's my project:

I made a gift bag out of a paper bag. I used some bubble wrap and some acrylic paint to make the pattern on the bag. So much fun!!

 I made the tag with the Tiny Tags and Tabs TH Die.  

I used the Tattered Florals Die to make the flower out of more paper bags that I sprayed with Cosmos Glimmer Mist. Some of the layers I made with Glassine Paper. I inked the edges with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. And then added some glitter!

Gingersnap Creations: GC106 Spicy Supply- Packing Materials!

Here is my Visiting Artist Project #2, for this week's Spicy Supply- Packing Materials over at Gingersnap Creations

I made a card for a friend of mine. One of the online stamp supply stores packs their shipments in this nice kraft paper. So I used that to make the tiny tags (Tiny Tags and Tab Sizzix Die) and the flowers (Tattered Florals Sizzix Die). I sprayed half with Cosmos Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and the other half with Dried Marigold Distress Reinker mixture I made. The stamps are SU! and so is the Tulip dry embossed border. GC 101 Cowboys & Cowgirls

GC 101 Cowboys & Cowgirls over at Gingersnap Creations!

I found the quote on the web along with the image of the jean pocket. I inked the tag with Weathered Wood, and Faded Jean Distress Ink. Ran the large tag though the Bigshot using the Stampin Up Kit #4 Texturz Plates. The brads are also from Stampin Up. The tiny tag in the pocket was made using the Tiny Tags & Tabs Tim Holtz Die. The quote I typed up on PSE8 using the 1942 Report font.

This week Simon Says Stamp and Show ... Anything Goes!

This week at Simon Says Stamp and Show ...anything goes! I made a necklace charm:

I used the Tiny Tags and Tabs die by Tim Holtz to cut out the tag from a beer can. I stamped a old book page with a postage mark stamp. The butterfly is cut out using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die (SU!). The paper is from Beth Rimmer's kit Nantucket over at Deviant Scrap.com She makes such beautiful papers in her kits

I used more paper from her digital kit for the back too.

I printed it on cardstock and covered the whole thing with Glossy Accents.
