I made a jewelry box for my MIL's 70th birthday this month. I altered a paper mache book shaped box. I used Altered Emporium's beautiful kit Daffodil Day to decorate it.
The stamps are by Tim Holtz and SU!
I made the daffodil flowers out of crinoline fabric and dyed them with Dried Marigold and Peeled Paint Distress Ink Reinkers.
Here is my Visiting Artist Project #2, for this week's Spicy Supply- Packing Materials over at Gingersnap Creations
I made a card for a friend of mine. One of the online stamp supply stores packs their shipments in this nice kraft paper. So I used that to make the tiny tags (Tiny Tags and Tab Sizzix Die) and the flowers (Tattered Florals Sizzix Die). I sprayed half with Cosmos Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and the other half with Dried Marigold Distress Reinker mixture I made. The stamps are SU! and so is the Tulip dry embossed border. Thanks for looking! Can't wait to see what everyone makes!!
Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder. -Henry David Thoreau
This is a blog of my various digital and stamp creations. I enjoy photography & making handmade gifts and cards. Some of my favorite things to make my projects with usually include glitter, vintage and nature.
