I know I have neglected my blog for months, but Linda's 12 Tags of Christmas has begun and I'm so excited! My family enjoyed all the tags I tied on their presents last Christmas and they will be looking forward to more tags this year.
We are supposed to check out Linda's tag and find something on it that inspires us. I liked the heart and wings on her tag. So here is mine:
I used some old sheet music for the base of my tag. The heart punch and snowflake trim is Martha Stewart and the wings are a bigshot die by Tim Holtz. The stamp and label punch are Stampin Up. I added some Stickles to the wings and hear.
I was inspired by Linda's snowflake border at the bottom for my Week 2 tag. Here is mine:
I sprayed the whole tag with Key Lime Glimmer Mist. Then stamped it with the Tim Holtz snowflake stamps. Added some bling. I used the Snowflake border die for the bottom and added some more Stickles to that.
Thanks for looking!

I made another tag for my wedding "slide" show. It's a Halloweeen one. The photo was taken 10 years ago. I was Lara Croft from Tomb Raider. Wow time flies.

Craft Filled Friday Night!!
I had a whole night to create in my craft room last night! I was too tired to post all the tags and projects I finished last night so this will be a long blog post.
First I made a cone inspired by Linda's Tag 3 I liked her mini sheet music and the flourish.
First I made a cone inspired by Linda's Tag 3 I liked her mini sheet music and the flourish.
I used the bird/vine Sizzix die. The sheet music stamp is TH. I colored the cardstock with Distress Stain in Red Barn Door and Peeled Paint.
For Tag 4 of Linda's 12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style I made this one:
I liked Linda's tag with the icicles and the snowflakes with the 25 on them.
The stamps are Tim Holtz.
Here's my tag for # 5:
I was inspired by Linda's Tag. I liked her white flower and the embossed "Joy".
I used bronze embossing powder on mine. I also like how she used the TH wing stamp.
For Tag 6 inspiration I liked Linda's doily on her tag. I made mine into a rosette and added a pinecone on top.
For Linda's Tag 7 I liked her cardboard tree and the Christmas Ticket.
Here's mine:
I didn't have the same tree die, but I like how mine turned out.
For Linda's Tag 8 I liked her white flower!
This is my version. I like adding Stickles on everything :)
For Linda's tag 11 I loved her copper 25 she made and the snowflake on the edge die.
Here's mine:
I used copper alcohol ink on the copper to make the 25 stand out better. I really like how the whole thing turned out.
For Linda's tag 12 I really liked her bird cage but I don't have that die. I also liked her bow and the leaves, so I used what I had and came up with this:
And this is what I did with most of the music paper cones. I hung them on my stair rail. A couple I'm giving as gifts.
Since I finished Linda's 12 Tags of Christmas, it was time to get going on Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas! He made some amazing tags so far!
Here's my version of Tim's Tag 1:
I didn't have the pinecone sizzix die, but I did have these real ones in my yard!
Here's my version of Tim's Tag 2
And my last project for today, Tim's Tag 3 -my version:
I used a bunch of stamps I got out of the dollar bin at Michaels. The last stamp is a TH stamp. All the inks are TH distress inks. I embossed the whole tag with sparkley clear embossing powder.
