A couple projects

I've been wanting to participate in Linda's 12 tags of Christmas but I've been too busy, so today I completed 2 projects. You don't have to make tags, just something that you've made that was inspired by her beautiful example. For my first paper cone I was inspired by Linda's cardboard stars in her week 9 tag.
I used some old sheet music to make my cones. I used a snowflake border punch around the edges of the rosette. Inked it with Tea Stain Distress Ink and some Star Dust Stickles.
I added some glitter around the edges of the star.

I also added a crystal from Maya Road.
My 2nd cone was inspired by Linda's 1st tag. I liked her rosette. They are so fun to make.

I added a paper doily under the rosette that I sprayed with Key Lime Tattered Angel's Glitter Spray. The large snowflake is made from cardboard.
More glitter and star dust stickles and a evergreen pick finished it off.
The last project I made today were these cute paper flowers:
There was a tutorial in this month's The Deviant Muse over at Deviant Scrap. It's a free newsletter. Edeena made a great button flower tutorial! I made 4 flowers.
I added the flowers to a birthday card I made. The fence was made with the Picket Fence On the Edge Sizzix die by Tim Holtz. I inked the edges of the flower with Distress Ink.
Thanks for looking!

Oh my, you are rocking the tag challenges, Jen! Your cones are both so fabulous. I love them and actually have been thinking about doing one myself for a Christmas project so thanks for the inspiration! They both have such a yummy vintage feel to them.

So happy to have you playing along with our tag challenge. Can't wait to see what you make for this week's challenge!

Hugs,
Linda

Great that you have joined in with this Challenge Jen, your cones are so lovely and I love how you have extended on the one embellishment, I always try but it does not always come off.
Smiles:)
